  • Anti allergy. The medicinal product with an antiallergic LIRR Gem 5mg contains as active ingredient levocetirizine dihydrochloride. It can be used in subjects with allergic rhinitis and urticaria.

Composition:
1 tablet contains: levocetirizine dihydrochloride - 5 mg and inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, hypromellose (E 464) Titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogol 400.

Action:
His antiallergic drug owes the contained active ingredient. Lewocytyryzyny dihydrochloride is a substance which is a potent and selective peripheral H1-receptor antagonist. Gem LIRR drug used in urticaria or allergic rhinitis alleviates the symptoms of these symptoms (sneezing, watery eyes or itching).

Application:
The medicinal product LIRR Gem 5mg indicated for use in treating the symptoms of allergic rhinitis, including chronic allergic rhinitis, as well as in the treatment of urticaria. Drug suitable for adults and children over 6 years of age.

Additional information:
Keep out of reach of children, at room temperature. The drug may cause potentiation of alcohol. Due to the possible occurrence of drowsiness, exhaustion or fatigue advised to exercise caution when performing activities such as driving a car or operating machinery. The product contains lactose monohydrate.

Contraindications
not be used in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use the intolerance of some sugars, with severe renal impairment. It not recommended for use during pregnancy and lactation. Do not use in children under 6 years of age.

Adverse reactions:
While taking may occur in some individuals side effects: often - headache, drowsiness and fatigue, dry mouth; uncommon - abdominal pain, feeling exhausted; very rarely - seizures, tingling, heart palpitations, dizziness, fainting, tremor, blurred vision, vertigo, impaired sense of taste, painful / difficult urination, inability to completely empty the bladder, water retention (swelling), itching, hives, rash, eczema skin, weight gain, shortness of breath, muscle aches, agitation, aggressive behavior, insomnia, recurrent suicidal thoughts, abnormal liver function, hepatitis, nausea, increased appetite.

Dosage:
Use as directed by your doctor or the directions on the leaflet. The daily dose: one tablet. The tablet be swallowed whole and to drink water. The product is suitable for use either with food or without food. Without consulting a doctor is not recommended to take more than 10 days.
