GLANDOSANE neutral xerostomia treatment spray  Indication / application

• The medicine is an artificial saliva for use in the oral cavity.
• The medicine is used
  • dry mouth of any origin, especially dry mouth caused by radiation therapy in the head and neck area (radiogenic sialadenitis).
  • for oral care in the intensive care unit.

dosage

• Always use the medicine exactly as directed. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
  • Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is:
    • If necessary, spray the lining of the mouth and throat.

• Duration of application:
  • The duration of use of the drug is not limited.

• Spray for use in the oral cavity. Do not spray in the eyes!
• Hold the spray can upright when using it, otherwise propellant gas will escape and there will not be enough propellant available to remove the remaining amount.

  • So far, no interactions between the drug and other drugs have been observed.

Contraindications

• The drug must not be used
  • if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to any of the active substances or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.
