ANERVINA SYRUP Application:
ANERVINA is available as a solution for oral administration.
ANERVINA is a combined medicinal product with a sedative (calming) and mild hypnotic effect. The effects are related to the action of each of the ingredients individually and as a whole. ANERVINA is used for the symptomatic treatment of irritability, anxiety, mild sleep disorders associated with physical and mental fatigue, neurotic disorders, especially in menopause.
Composition:
100 g of ANERVINA contain the following active substances
Valerian tincture | 20.0 gr |
Sodium bromide | 1.5 gr |
Ammonium bromide | 2.0 gr |
Potassium bromide | 3.0 gr |
• The composition includes the following excipients - ethanol and purified water.
When ANERVINA should not be used
ANERVINA should not be used in:
• hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the product
• severe liver failure
• patients with suppressed renal function
• pregnancy
• breastfeeding
• children under 12 years of age.
Special precautions for use
With special care ANERVINA is used in the following patients:
• dehydrated patients
• patients on a low sodium chloride diet
• fever
• vertebral atherosclerosis
• organic brain disorders
• stupid patients
• depressed patients
• patients with neurological diseases
• patients with mental illness
• alcoholics
ANERVINA contains ethanol (up to 49 percent V / V or up to 0.2 g per dose), so it is not recommended for use by people suffering from liver disease, alcoholism, epilepsy, brain damage or disease.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
ANERVINA should not be taken during pregnancy and lactation.
The active ingredients of Anervina pass through the placenta and are excreted in breast milk.
Taking ANERVINA with other medicines
Increased sedation and CNS depression may occur with concomitant use of Anervin and sedative hypnotics (barbiturates and benzodiazepines), opioid analgesics, tranquilizers and alcohol (or ethanol-containing drugs).
Anervina should not be taken at the same time as medicines that damage the liver.
It may change the way some medicines work.
Driving and operating machines
Anervina may affect the ability to drive and use machines. There is a danger of reduced active attention and delayed reactions.
Dosage:
Adults: 20-30 drops 1-2 times a day, dissolved in a little water or a lump of sugar.
Children: Children over 12 years - once a day in as many drops as the child is.
Duration of administration: Anervina should not be used for more than 15 days without a
prescription.
If you take more than the required dose
At high doses (many times the recommended) the following symptoms of overdose may be observed: nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, constipation; headache, dizziness, vertigo, depression, hallucinations, fatigue, easy fatigue, increased blood clotting, hypotension, tachycardia, respiratory distress, chest tightness, impaired vision, mydriasis, abdominal pain, tremor of the extremities; suppression of intestinal motility and tone.
The most common symptoms of bromide overdose are depression, coma, hypotension, tachycardia, and respiratory distress. In this case, seek medical attention.
There is no specific antidote for bromide overdose. The main therapy is to stop taking bromides, measure serum levels, aggressive hydration and increase urinary bromide excretion. This therapy should be continued until bromide levels of less than 100-150 mg / dL are reached.
The symptoms of valerian overdose are most often the following: easy fatigue, chest tightness, hypotension, mydriasis, abdominal pain, limb tremor, dizziness. At high doses of valerian suppression of intestinal motility and tone are observed.
In case of overdose with valerian, the treatment is symptomatic: gastric lavage with activated charcoal is applied and the main vital signs, liver parameters and ECG in symptomatic patients are monitored.
If you forget to take ANERVINA
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, forget about the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Never take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

Possible side effects
Like all medicines, Anervina can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
The following side effects are rare with long-term use in high doses:
• From the gastrointestinal tract: nausea and vomiting, stomach irritation, abdominal pain, constipation; liver damage.
• From the central nervous system: headache, agitation, drowsiness and reduced efficiency; ataxia; vertigo (dizziness); confusion; mania; hallucinations; neurological changes; increased intraspinal pressure.
• On the part of the respiratory system: respiratory distress syndrome.
• On the skin side: manifestations of hypersensitivity and rash.
• Visual disturbances: pupils may be constricted or dilated and there may be delayed light reactivity. Very rarely, impaired vision due to retrobulbar neuritis can be observed.
• Cardiovascular disorders: tachycardia (rapid pulse), rarely - hypotension.

Storage
