Macrogol sachets STADA ® 13.7 g powder for chronic constipation oral solution.

Active ingredients: Macrogol 3350, sodium chloride, sodium hydrogen carbonate, potassium chloride.

Laxatives used to treat chronic constipation in adults, children 12 years and older, and the elderly. It will help you keep your bowels smooth, even if you have been constipated for a long time. It also works for a very severe type of constipation called stool retention (complete severe constipation).

Not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

Macrogol is a proven, osmotic agent for constipation. The active ingredient increases the volume of stool by binding water in the intestine and thereby reducing its absorption into the body. At the same time, the stool becomes softer due to the increased water content, which also makes it easier to pass. Macrogol is well tolerated and is not absorbed from the intestine into the blood: the active ingredient is excreted unchanged in the stool. The contained electrolytes prevent electrolyte shifts. Recommendation for

MACROGOLsachets chronic constipation powder use
Adults take 7.5-15ml Lactulose STADA 1-2 times a day if they are constipated. The usual dose for children is 4.5-9 ml 1-2 times a day.

For chronic constipation, adults and children from 12 years of age take one sachet of Macrogol 1-3 times a day, depending on the severity of the constipation.

To take, open the sachet and pour its contents into a glass. Add 125ml of water and stir until all of the powder has dissolved. Then they drink the solution.
