How the antihistamine cetirizine works The messenger substance histamine plays an important role in the development of allergic complaints. The antihistamine cetirizine - an antagonist of histamine - blocks the histamine receptors and prevents the messenger substance from developing its effect. This makes Cetirizine 10-1 A Pharma ® ideal for alleviating the typical nose and eye symptoms that can occur with seasonal or year-round allergic rhinitis.

CETIRIZINE 10, cetirizine dihydrochloride Application & dosage:
The film-coated tablets should be swallowed whole with a glass of liquid and can be divided into equal doses. Adults and adolescents over 12 years: The recommended dose is 10 mg (1 film-coated tablet once a day)
Children between 6 to 12 years: The recommended dose is 5 mg twice a day (½ film-coated tablet twice a day)
