  • The drug is an agent with a slight local anesthetic effect. The medicine is used in babies, children and adults to relieve itching sensations, e.g. B. in varicella (chicken pox and shingles) applied to the skin.

 

Dosage Chickenpox, shingles rash, ANESTHESULF lotion :

 

  • Always use this medicine exactly as described in or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
  • Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the preparation is applied thinly to the itchy skin areas with a cotton swab one to three times a day.

 

  • duration of use
    • The duration of the application depends on the type and course of the clinical picture. In children, the drug should not be used for more than 1 week. In adults, the preparation should not be used for longer than 1 week without medical advice. If you want to use the medicine in adults for more than a week, talk to your doctor beforehand.
  • Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

 

  • If you use more than you should
    • Use nourishing, greasy ointments for dry, cracked areas of skin.

 

  • If you forgot the application
    • Continue treatment immediately with the amount previously used.

 

  • If you cancel the application
    • The itching sensation may worsen again.

 

  • If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

    • if you are allergic to Lauromacrogol 400 or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

    • If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine. You should then not use the medicine over a large area and for no longer than 1 week or, on the express advice of your doctor, for a maximum of 2 weeks.

    • If you are breastfeeding, please do not apply the preparation to the breast.
