Areas of application: For the symptomatic relief of histamine-related itching; chickenpox-associated itching in young children; allergic rhinitis in patients over 6 years of age; Hives (urticaria).

Fenistil coated tablets, dimetindene maleate 1 mg per coated tablet

Fenistil coated tablets can already be used in children from 3 years of age (with allergic rhinitis in children from 6 years of age) and are particularly practical when traveling. Good to know: Fenistil coated tablets have also proven themselves for itching that occurs as part of chickenpox.

Inhibiting histamine - relieving allergic symptoms Histamine is a substance that the body releases more intensely, for example during an allergic reaction. The active ingredient dimetindene maleate contained in Fenistil dragees is one of the antihistamines: It blocks histamine H1 receptors and thus reduces the corresponding symptoms.

The antiallergic Fenistil dragees is suitable for the symptomatic relief of histamine-related itching; Years of age take 1 coated tablet a maximum of 3 times a day. Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age take 1-2 coated tablets 3 times a day. For patients prone to drowsiness, it is recommended to take 2 tablets at bedtime and 1 tablet in the morning. Fenistil coated tablets should not be used for more than 14 days without consulting a doctor.
