One 70 cm (45 g) collar contains 4.5 g imidacloprid and 2.03 g flumethrin as active substances.

Indications

- For the treatment and prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis) for 7 to 8 months. The antiflea efficacy is achieved immediately after application of the collar.
- For the protection of the animal's immediate environment from the development of flea larvae for 8 months. Foresto can be used as part of a treatment strategy for flea allergy dermatitis (FAD).
The product has long-term acaricidal efficacy (kills ticks) in case of tick infestations (Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Dermacentor reticulatus) and repellent efficacy (prevents feeding) in case of tick infestations (Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus) for a period of 8 months. The product is effective against larvae, nymphs and adults of ticks.
In the case of previous presence of ticks on the dog before the start of treatment, fitting the collar may not result in the death of arachnids within 48 hours; ticks may remain attached and visible. Therefore, it is recommended to remove ticks already present on the animal at the time of fitting the collar. The preventive effect of new tick infestations begins within 2 days after fitting the collar.
For the treatment of lice infestations (Trichodectes canis).
