  • Maglek is used to prevent magnesium deficiency and vitamin B6 in patients with an inadequate supply of those components in the diet or diets rich in saturated fatty acids in patients with acute or chronic.

 

MAGLEK B6 Composition:


The active substances are: magnesium lactate at 500 mg (51 mg Mg 2+) and pyridoxine
hydrochloride (vit. B6), 5 mg - in one tablet.
- The other ingredients are: microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose, croscarmellose sodium,
colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate.

 

MAGLEK B6 Action:

the magnesium lactate is a compound easily assimilable by the body. Magnesium is the primary regulator of the cell cycle, such asdetermines the correct concentration of potassium in the cell. It is an activator of several enzymes, including transferring phosphoryl groups. It plays an important role in muscle contraction (including myocardial infarction), affects neuromuscular excitability. Together with the calcium and phosphorus involved in the formation of bone structures. It stimulates the body's defense mechanisms, is involved in blood clotting, and also has a calming effect. The daily demand for magnesium is about 300 mg and increases at an accelerated passage through the digestive tract, a significant influence of alcohol, stressful situations, excessive effort. Symptoms of magnesium deficiency are hyperactivity, difficulty concentrating and sleeping, increased susceptibility to stress, impaired muscle function. Magnesium deficiency increases the risk of cardiac arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction. Vitamin B 6 facilitates the use of magnesium in increments of about 40% of its absorption from the gastrointestinal tract and decreasing urinary excretion. Furthermore, participates with magnesium in the synthesis and transport of proteins and to be involved in the metabolism of amino acids, carbohydrates and lipids.

 

MAGLEK B6 Indications:

prevention of deficiency of magnesium and vitamin B 6in patients with an inadequate supply of those components in the diet or diets rich in saturated fatty acids in patients with acute or chronic pancreatitis or hepatitis, patients with chronic diarrhea or abuse of laxatives, patients treated with diuretics (furosemide in particular).Prevention of certain diseases of the heart, particularly arrhythmias, heart attack, coronary heart disease. In addition, disease states associated with an increased excitability of muscle and prone to seizures tetanic after prolonged immobilization and during convalescence after fractures of bone disorders, re-absorption of magnesium in the renal tubules.

 

MAGLEK B6 Dosage:

Oral, adults and children over 12 years of agein the prevention of magnesium deficiency and vitamin B 6 : 1-2 tablets. per day (before or after a meal); in other indications are given a higher dose.
