  • Lakcid Intima vaginal capsules is a medicinal product containing two strains of lactic acid bacteria isolated from the vagina of a healthy woman. Lakcid Intima vaginal capsules These are: Lactobacillus gasseri DSM 14869 sticks and Lactobacillus rhamnosus DSM 14870 rods.

Lakcid Intima vaginal capsules composition:

Active substances Lakcid Intima vaginal capsules: Lactobacillus gasseri DSM 14869 and Lactobacillus rhamnosus DSM 14870. One capsule contains not less than 108 CFU Lactobacillus gasseri DSM 14869 and not less than 108 CFU Lactobacillus rhamnosus DSM 14870 and auxiliary substances: lactitol monohydrate, corn starch, xanthan gum, anhydrous glucose, magnesium stearate; capsule shell: gelatin, titanium dioxide (E171).

Operation of Lakcid Intima vaginal capsules:

The bacteria contained in the Lakcid Intima vaginal capsules medicinal product show adhesive properties to the epithelium, thanks to which they easily colonize the vagina. Both Lactobacillus gasseri DSM 14869 and Lactobacillus rhamnosus DSM 14870 produce lactic acid, additionally Lactobacillus gasseri DSM 14869 produces hydrogen peroxide, which creates unfavorable conditions for the development of pathogenic bacteria. The use of Lakcid Intima vaginal capsules is recommended to restore and maintain the physiological bacterial flora of the vagina.

Lakcid Intima vaginal capsules Application:
Lakcid Intima medicinal product indicated for use in order to restore and maintain the normal bacterial flora of the vagina. For use in women over 18 years of age: after menstruation, after antibiotic therapy and in the case of disturbances in the bacterial flora of the vagina.

Lakcid Intima vaginal capsules Additional information:
Keep the product out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. In case of severe immune system disorder, a doctor should be consulted with the possibility of using vaginal capsules. Women who are breastfeeding should discuss with the doctor the possibility of using the medicine.

Lakcid Intima vaginal capsules Contraindications:
Do not use in the case of hypersensitivity to any component of the dietary supplement. Do not use during pregnancy. Do not use during antibiotic therapy.

Dosing of Lakcid Intima vaginal capsules:

Use as directed on the leaflet or as recommended by your doctor. Prophylaxis: the first dose should be administered immediately after menstruation, intravaginally one capsule per day - before bedtime, for 4-6 days. After antibiotic therapy: apply one capsule per day before going to bed, for 6-8 days. If there has been no improvement after 8 days of using the medicine, please consult your doctor.
