ZIRKULIN Psyllium Husks Ground Powder

Food - High quality fiber for drinking with an orange flavor

Circulin ground psyllium husks are a herbal swelling agent with an orange flavor that can be stirred into cold or warm water. The seed coats of Indian psyllium (Plantago Ovata) have a high content of soluble and very swellable fiber. The pods promote natural digestion and intestinal health. They can bind up to 40 times their own weight in fluid and convey it into the intestines. The hydration increases the intestinal contents and becomes softer. The advantage over other sources of dietary fiber, such as wheat bran or flaxseed, is the particularly high swelling capacity and, in addition, the content of mucous substances, which also swell in the intestine and contribute to a more comfortable intestinal passage of the stool.

Good to know:
• The German Nutrition Society recommends at least 30 g of dietary fiber per day for adults
• Zirkulin ground psyllium husks can also be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding
• Zirkulin ground psyllium husks are:
• Suitable for a vegan diet
• Free of preservatives
• Naturally free of gluten and lactose 

Recommended psyllium husk powder intake:
2 x daily 1 slightly heaped teaspoon (approx. 3 g each) in approx. 150 ml of water, stir well, allow to swell briefly (1–2 minutes) and then drink. Then drink 1–2 more glasses of liquid.

Notice:
When consuming it, ensure that you drink plenty of fluids, as the dietary fibers bind water and, if you do not drink enough fluids, they can lead to an intestinal obstruction.

Indian psyllium husks (finely ground) (67%), corn dextrin (24%), acidifier citric acid, natural orange flavor, coloring food, natural paprika extract, sweetener sucralose.
