The medicinal product Castor oil in the form of oral fluid is indicated for constipation. Castor oil has an irritating effect on the intestinal walls, thanks to which it intensifies peristaltic movements of the large intestine.

Composition Castor oil oral fluid:

Active substance: castor oil (Oleum Ricini). 100g contains 100g of castor oil.

Action Castor oil oral fluid:

Castor oil intensifies peristaltic movements of the small intestine, because it has a strong irritating effect on the intestinal walls. The medicinal product Castor oil oral fluid is indicated for emergency use in case of constipation. The drug is recommended primarily for adults.

Application:
Medicinal product Castor oil oral fluid for temporary use in constipation.

Additional information:
The product should be stored out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. In children over 12 years of age, discuss the possibility of using the drug with your doctor. It should be remembered that spicy spices may intensify the irritating effect of the drug.

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use below 12 years of age. Do not use in women during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Do not use in cases of intestinal obstruction, appendicitis, inflammation in the abdominal cavity and pelvis, intestinal ulceration, internal bleeding, abdominal pain of unknown cause, unexplained gastrointestinal complaints.

Side effects:
Some people may experience side effects when taking this medicine. When oral castor oil is used (even at therapeutic doses), small intestine irritation, abdominal and pelvic congestion may occur, which may exacerbate existing inflammation. With prolonged use, severe gastrointestinal irritation, gastrointestinal complaints, lack of appetite and loss of electrolytes (potassium) may appear.

Oral fluid dosage Castor oil:

Use as directed by your doctor or as directed on the leaflet. The drug for occasional use. Do not use for a long time. It is usually recommended to use 5-10g (1 / 2-1 tbsp) of the drug at a time. The laxative effect occurs after 2-6 hours. If constipation persists or you develop additional symptoms after taking a single dose, contact your doctor.
