Kidney tonic, syrup
Active ingredient: Extract from Betula, Folium, Juniperi pseudo-fructus

Composition:
10 g (8.4 ml) contain: Extract (10:1.3) from Betula, Folium, Juniperi pseudo-fructus (5:1.5) (extraction agent: drinking water, sucrose, honey, citric acid monohydrate) 10 g. Contains sucrose (sucrose/sugar) and invert sugar.

Indications:
According to anthroposophical understanding of man and nature. These include: stimulating excretory kidney function in urinary tract infections and metabolic diseases that lead to deposits and degenerative changes, such as gout, rheumatism, and sclerosis.

Contraindications:
Kidney tonic should not be used during pregnancy, in cases of pre-damaged kidneys, or in cases of inflammatory kidney disease. Do not use if you are hypersensitive to birch pollen.

Precautions for use and warnings:
Kidney tonic should not be used in children under 12 years of age without medical advice and does not replace other measures prescribed by a doctor. This medicine contains sucrose, glucose, and fructose. Please only take Kidney tonic after consulting your doctor if you know you have an intolerance to certain sugars. 1 teaspoon (5 ml) contains 1.5 g sucrose (sugar) and 0.9 g honey (contains glucose and fructose). If you must follow a diabetic diet, you should take this into account. Kidney tonic can be harmful to the teeth (causing tooth decay).

Dosage and method of administration:
Unless otherwise prescribed, take 1 teaspoon of syrup 2 to 3 times daily, undiluted or diluted with a little water.

Duration of use:
Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks. If no improvement occurs within 2-5 days, consult a doctor. The duration of treatment for chronic illnesses requires consultation with a doctor.

Side effects:
Long-term use or overdose may cause kidney damage. Due to the ingredient Betula pendula (birch leaves), allergic reactions (rash, swelling, itching) may occur. Discontinue use of the medicine and consult a doctor if necessary.
