NESTLE PreNAN HMF Breast Milk Fortifier 72 sachets

Nestle PreNAN HMF, breast milk fortifier is a food for special medical purposes, which contains: partially hydrolysed protein, DHA, as well as vitamins and minerals (including iron). PreNAN HMF is used for dietary treatment of premature and low birth weight infants. The product must be used under medical supervision. It is not suitable for use as the sole source of food. Always hold the child during feeding, if left unattended it may choke.

Indications

PreNAN breast milk fortifier is a food for special medical purposes, which enriches the diet with nutrients supporting the development of premature and low birth weight infants fed with mother's milk.

Dosage

The following amounts can be changed based on medical recommendations. The doctor should recommend the appropriate amount of the preparation for the body weight and age of premature or low birth weight infants.
The standard is 1 g (1 sachet) per 25 ml of breast milk. It is recommended to gradually increase the dose starting from 2 g per 100 ml of breast milk. After assessing tolerance within 24 hours of administration, the amount may be increased to the full dose (4 g per 100 ml of breast milk) or hospital feeding guidelines may be followed.
