Anthroposophic medicine for acute and chronic rheumatic diseases.

Active ingredients

  • 30 mg Formica ex animale glycerol extract (1:3)
  • 30 mg Mandrake, ethanol. Decoctum mother tincture
  • 20 mg Betula, folium-ethanol. Decoction 20%
  • 15 mg Aconitum napellus mother tincture
  • 10 mg rosemary oil
  • 70 mg arnica extract (1:1.1); extraction agent: ethanol

Excipients

  • Water, purified
  • Wool wax
  • Lanolin alcohols
  • Sesame oil, refined
  • Wax, yellow

What is Arnica comp. / Formica and what is it used for?
Arnica comp. / Formica is an anthroposophical medicine for diseases of the musculoskeletal system.

According to the anthroposophical understanding of man and nature, the areas of application include subacute and chronic stages of rheumatic diseases as well as degenerative processes in the musculoskeletal system.

How should Arnica comp. / Formica be used?
Always use Arnica comp. / Formica exactly as your doctor has told you.

Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is:

Adults should rub a 2 cm long strip of ointment into the skin over the painful areas twice a day, while adolescents aged 12 and over should rub a 1 cm long strip of ointment into the skin over the painful areas twice a day.

The treating doctor decides on the duration of use. If there is no improvement in symptoms after a treatment period of about one week, please consult your doctor.

Composition:
10 g contain: Active ingredients: Aconitum napellus Ø 0.15 g / 0.7 g ethanol. Extract from Arnica montana, Planta tota rec. (1:1.1) / Betulae folium, ethanol. Decoctum 20 % [HAB, V. 12q, Ø with ethanol 30 % (m/m)] 0.2 g / Mandragora, ethanol. Decoctum Ø 0.3 g / 0.3 g glycerol extract from Formica rufa ex anim. tot. (1:3) / Rosmarini aetheroleum 0.1 g.

Ointment base: Refined sesame oil, lanolin, yellow wax, lanolin alcohols, purified water.
