  • HELICID Control source of omeprazole referred to as proton pump inhibitor.

HELICID Control Composition:
active substance is omeprazole form of omeprazole sodium salt in an amount corresponding to 10 mg (Helicid 10) or 20 mg (Helicid 20) omeprazole. Other ingredients are: sucrose granules, anhydrous lactose, hypromellose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, sodium lauryl sulphate, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, triethyl citrate, talc, methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer (1: 1). Composition of coating: iron oxide black, iron oxide red, titanium dioxide, iron oxide yellow, gelatin.

Action HELICID Control:
HELICID Control formulation which contains in its composition or a proton pump inhibitor omeprazole. Shows the inhibitory properties of proton pump (H + K + ATPase) in the gastric parietal cells. It contributes in this way to stop gastric acid secretion (primary and after stimulation). Thus relieving symptoms and effects known. hyperacidity. Indications HELICID Control:
The formulation used in adults in the case of GERD, duodenal ulcer or gastric ulcer infected with Helicobacter pylori (in combination with an antibiotic), ulcers caused by intake of the formulations of NSAIDs, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It is recommended to use the drug in children over one year of age and over 10 kg of body weight at reflux esophagitis and in children and adolescents over 4 years ulcers infected with bacteria called Helicobacter pylori (in combination with antibiotic treatment).

HELICID Control Dosage:
Use orally, as prescribed. Take medication in the morning. At reflux esophagitis, gastric ulcers generally apply 20 mg x 1/24 h for 4-8 weeks. The doctor may recommend to the patient to administer the dosage of 20-40 mg daily for the next 4-8 weeks, if not results. During the treatment of ulcers of the upper small intestine (duodenal ulcers) to apply 20 mg x 1 / 24h for 2 weeks. The dose can be repeated for the next two weeks if the ulcer will not heal. To completely fill the dose can be increased to 40 mg x 1 / 24h for 4 weeks.
