Sensodyne PROSCHMELZ Fluoride Gelée Dental Gel


Active ingredient: Fluoride. 

Areas of application: For adults, adolescents and children aged 6 and over for caries prevention, support in the treatment of initial caries, treatment of hypersensitive tooth necks. Tube with 25 g dental gel. Only available from pharmacies. Status: 06/2016.

Weekly intensive treatment with fluoride. Sensodyne PROSCHMELZ Fluoride Gelée 25 g helps prevent tooth decay, supports the treatment of initial caries and helps with hypersensitive tooth necks.

Application:
In self-medication for caries prevention and to support the treatment of initial caries: After thoroughly cleaning the teeth with normal toothpaste, put a 0.7 cm (children between 6 and 12 years) or a 2.5 cm (adults and adolescents over 12 years) long strip of Sensodyne PROSCHMELZ Fluoride Gelée on a toothbrush and brush the teeth for at least 2 minutes. Then spit out the gel.

Treatment of hypersensitive tooth necks:
For targeted treatment of hypersensitive tooth necks, put a 0.7 cm long strip (adults and adolescents over 12 years) of Sensodyne PROSCHMELZ Fluoride Gelée on the fingertip or a cotton swab and apply to the affected tooth surface. Allow the gel to work for 2 minutes and then spit it out. Children between 6 and 12 years of age with signs of hypersensitive tooth necks should only use Sensodyne PROSCHMELZ Fluorid Gelée after consulting a dentist.

Composition:
The active ingredient is sodium fluoride. 1 g of dental gel contains 27.65 mg of sodium fluoride, corresponding to 1.25% fluoride (12.5 mg or 12,500 ppm fluoride). The other ingredients are: Purified water, disodium hydrogen phosphate, carbomer 956, sodium dodecyl sulfate, peppermint flavor, saccharin sodium, grapefruit flavor type A, sodium hydroxide, raspberry flavor, patent blue V (E 131).
