Tokovit E natural 400j.m is a medicinal product that provides the body with vitamin E. Its proper amount is very important because it participates in the protection of cells against oxidative stress.

Tokovit E Composition:
Active substance: RRR-alpha-tocopherol (RRR-alpha-Tocopherolum). Excipients: purified soybean oil, gelatin, glycerol.

One capsule contains 400 IU RRR-alpha-tocopherol.

Action Tokovit E:
Tokovit E natural 400j.m is a drug that contains the active substance RRR-alpha-tocopherol, i.e. vitamin E isolated from vegetable oils. Research indicates that this form of vitamin E works 50% more strongly than its other forms. Vitamin E together with catalase, peroxide dismutase, glutathione peroxidase and selenium is a system that protects the cell against the negative effects of free oxygen radicals. In this way, it protects polyunsaturated fatty acids in the cell membrane and other structures and stabilizes the cell membrane, and also prevents hemolysis of red blood cells. Tocopherol can act as a cofactor in some enzyme systems. Participates in lipid metabolism, glucose oxidation and glycogenolysis. The presence of vitamin E promotes the proper functioning of the nervous and muscular systems.

Tokovit E Application:
The medicinal product Tokovit E natural 400j.m indicated for use in vitamin E deficiency states and as an adjunct in atherosclerosis, ischemic heart disease and its secondary prevention, as well as in other diseases whose development is associated with oxidative stress.

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation and in states of vitamin K deficiency.
