Hepar Sulfuris Similiaplex® is a registered homeopathic medicinal product, therefore without a therapeutic indication.

How to use Hepar Sulfuris Similiaplex®?
Always take the medicine exactly as directed on the package leaflet. Please check with your prescriber or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Unless otherwise prescribed:
In acute conditions, let 1 tablet dissolve in the mouth every half to full hour, up to 6 times a day. Use for more than 1 week should only be done after consultation with a homeopathically experienced doctor or naturopath.

In chronic forms, let 1 tablet dissolve in the mouth 1 to 3 times a day. If the symptoms improve, the frequency of administration should be reduced.

Babies up to the age of 1 year do not receive more than a third of the adult dose (acutely take ½ tablet up to 4 times a day, chronically 1 to 2 times a day ½ tablet crushed and dissolved in water).

Small children up to the age of 6 receive no more than half the adult dose (acutely ½ a tablet up to 6 times a day, chronically ½ a tablet 1 to 3 times a day).

Children between the ages of 6 and 12 receive no more than two-thirds of the adult dose (acute 1 tablet maximum 4 times a day, chronic 1 tablet 1 to 2 times a day).

The active ingredients are: One tablet contains: Hepar sulfuris Trit. D4 25 mg, Hepar sulfuris Trit. D8 25 mg, Myristica sebifera ex cortice sicc. Ø [HAB, regulation 4a with ethanol 62% (m/m)] 25 mg, Silicea Trit. D12 25 mg, Sulfur iodatum Trit. D3 25mg, Belladonna Trit. D 4 25 mg, Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni Trit. D8 25 mg, Calcium sulfuricum Trit. D4 25mg.

The other ingredients are:
lactose monohydrate, maize starch, magnesium stearate (vegetable source).

What is Hepar Sulph used for?


Hepar Sulph has traditionally been used for symptoms associated with infections of the skin and mucous membranes, such as boils, splinters, acne, styes, cold sores, herpes and eczema with suppuration. Pain may be splinter or needle-like.
Virola sebifera benefits:
is used for treating ulcers and skin eruptions The bark is astringent, emetic and stimulant. An infusion is used in the treatment of dyspepsia, intestinal colic, erysipelas and inflammations. The bark is boiled with water and used to induce vomiting.
silicic acid benefits:
It's well-known for reducing acne by exfoliating the skin and keeping pores clear. You can find salicylic acid in a variety of over-the-counter (OTC) products. It's also available in prescription-strength formulas. Salicylic acid works best for mild acne (blackheads and whiteheads).
Sulfur iodatum benefits:
Sulphur Iodatum Dilution is primarily prescribed for the treatment of skin conditions such as eczema, boils, acne, itchy and flaky skin as well as rashes. It purifies the blood toxins causing acne and eczema and relieves itchiness of the skin. It helps in treating uvula and tonsils.
Atropa belladonna benefits:
belladonna is taken by mouth as a sedative, to stop bronchial spasms in asthma and whooping cough, and as a cold and hay fever remedy. It is also used for Parkinson's disease, colic, inflammatory bowel disease, motion sickness, and as a painkiller.
Mercurius solubilis benefits:
