KELO-COTE® silicone scar patches protect the scar and increase skin hydration. They provide an optimal healing environment by moisturizing and protecting the scar area and normalizing collagen production. This improves the appearance of bulging scars.

Application

  • Starting Treatment: For best results, you should begin treatment as soon as the wound is closed and the scab has fallen off or the stitches have been removed.
  • Apply the plaster: First clean the skin thoroughly and dry it. Remove the protective film from the back of the scar plaster and stick the plaster onto the scar.
  • Cutting and fixing: The scar plaster must completely cover the scar - if necessary, it can be cut to the correct size and fixed with an adhesive or elastic bandage.
  • Application times: For the best possible result, the KELO-COTE® silicone scar plasters should be worn for at least 12 to a maximum of 23 hours per day.
  • Treatment duration: Clean the scar patch daily before reusing it. Each pack is sufficient for approximately 3 weeks of treatment.

Pack size
Each pack of KELO-COTE® scar plasters contains a silicone plaster. When applied correctly and used appropriately (according to the instructions for use), one pack is sufficient for approximately 3 weeks of treatment. Therefore, multiple packs may be required for long-term therapy.

Important note
For external use only. Only use KELO-COTE® silicone scar plasters on healed, closed skin (after the scab has fallen off) and not on open wounds. Do not dry KELO-COTE® silicone scar patches in the sun or near a heat source.

The KELO-COTE® silicone scar patches should be temporarily removed when exercising or swimming: sweat or contact with water can cause the KELO-COTE® silicone scar patches to peel off. Do not use if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients. Do not use if the product packaging is already damaged. Keep out of reach of children.
