The active ingredient ibuprofen has been used as a pain reliever for many years. Neuralgin® extra combines the effective ibuprofen with the body-related lysine salt. This releases the active ingredient in the body more quickly and lets it work quickly. The active ingredient Ibuprofen-DL-Lysine offers quick help with all forms of headache - especially with annoying tension headaches and migraines.

Recommended use

Adults and children from 6 years of age can take Neuralgin extra for mild to moderately severe pain, such as headache, toothache or menstrual pain, as well as fever. The pain tablets are dosed for children and adolescents depending on their body weight and age. The single doses can be taken several times a day at intervals of more than 6 hours, as required. The film-coated tablets are swallowed whole with plenty of fluid during or after a meal.

A doctor should be consulted if symptoms persist for more than 4 days.

For tension headache

The most common types of headache are tension headaches. These occur episodically or chronically and are usually felt as pressing or pulling pain. Often the comparison is made with a "tight band around the head". Neuralgin extra offers quick relief for annoying tension headaches that stretch from the forehead to the neck.

With migraines

Migraine is a half-sided, pulsating form of headache. The often periodically recurring, seizure-like migraine attacks are often accompanied by nausea and sensitivity to light and noise. Neuralgin extra offers quick and effective relief for unpleasant migraine headaches.

In children and adolescents

Lactose or gluten intolerance

Many people suffer from lactose intolerance and often complain of flatulence, abdominal pain, diarrhea and nausea. Neuralgin extra is produced without milk sugar and is therefore suitable for people with lactose intolerance. In addition, the vegan pain pills are gluten-free.
