Acute pain is annoying and generally occurs when you can't use it at all. However, they are vital signals from the body that protect us from danger or can be a sign of serious illness. If the causes of acute pain are treated, they usually subside within hours or a few days. Until then, special medications can help relieve this pain.

IbuHEXAL* ® acute 400 mg with the proven active ingredient ibuprofen acts quickly on mild to moderately severe headaches, toothache and menstrual pain. In addition, the drug can also be used to reduce fever.

With the proven active ingredient ibuprofen
IbuHEXAL ® acute 400 mg film-coated tablets contain the proven active ingredient ibuprofen. The ingredient not only has analgesic and fever-reducing properties, but also has an anti-inflammatory effect. The active principle is based on the inhibition of so-called prostaglandins, which are involved in the development of fever, pain and inflammatory processes. If the body's own messenger substances are no longer formed, there is no sensation of pain. The active ingredient can also be administered to children from the age of 6 years if the dosage is appropriate for their age.

APPLICATION RECOMMENDATION:
Adults and adolescents from the age of 12 take ½ or one film-coated tablet of IbuHEXAL ® acute 400 mg whole with plenty of liquid (eg a glass of water) as a starting dose. If the maximum single dose has been taken, you must wait at least 6 hours before taking the next dose. However, the total dose, which depends on age, must not be exceeded within 24 hours. It should not be taken on an empty stomach; if you have a sensitive stomach, it is recommended to take it with meals. The drug is intended for short-term use. If the symptoms do not improve within four days or even worsen, please consult a doctor immediately.

Headaches often appear out of nowhere and destroy concentrated work. IbuHEXAL ® acute 400 mg with ibuprofen can relieve mild to moderate headaches.



HEADACHE, JOINTACHE AND FEVER Headache, jointache and fever often occur with colds. IbuHEXAL ® acute 400 mg relieves pain and at the same time reduces fever. FOR CHILDREN FROM 6 YEARS OF AGE For mild to moderately severe pain and fever, IbuHEXAL ® acute 400 mg film-coated tablets can be given to children from the age of 6 in an age-appropriate dosage. The film-coated tablets are divisible and can therefore be dosed according to age.

Which ingredients are contained in IbuHEXAL ® acute 400 mg?
1 film-coated tablet contains 400 mg ibuprofen. The other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, macrogol 400, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica, talc and titanium dioxide (E171).

Can I drive after taking IbuHEXAL ® acute 400 mg?
Since side effects such as tiredness, dizziness and visual disturbances can occur when taking IbuHEXAL ® acute 400 mg, the ability to actively participate in road traffic and to operate machines may be impaired in individual cases. This applies to a greater extent in combination with alcohol.

Since you may not be able to react quickly and specifically enough to sudden events, do not drive the car or other vehicles yourself if you experience any side effects. Do not operate any machines or tools and do not work without a secure footing.

Can IbuHEXAL ® acute 400 mg be taken while breastfeeding?
A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted before taking. Only small amounts of the active ingredient ibuprofen contained in IbuHEXAL ® acute 400 mg and its breakdown products pass into breast milk. Adverse consequences for the infant are not yet known. For short-term use of the recommended dose IbuHEXAL ®For acute 200 mg, it is usually not necessary to interrupt breastfeeding.

In case of pain or fever, do not use longer than specified in the leaflet without medical advice!
