Silicone patch for scars Sikatris is a product recommended for use to reduce the visibility of both old and fresh scars. Its effectiveness is based on smoothening and brightening the scar. It is suitable for keloid scars (keloids) and hypertrophic (hypertrophic) scars. Silicone patches are suitable for use as an agent to prevent abnormal scarring of closed wounds. The patches are ultra-thin, making it very comfortable to use and to wear. In the package: 10cm x 10cm slices: 5 pieces (they can be adjusted to the size of the scar).

Application:
Medical device Sikatris Silicone patch for scars intended for use in the prevention and care of various types of post-traumatic or post-burn scars. Recommended for scars after taking a tattoo or after removing it, for post-traumatic scars (abrasions, contusions), scars after burns.

Additional information:
Keep the product out of reach of children at room temperature. Protect against direct heat.

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to silicone. Do not use the same patch for more than 7 days. Do not use on open wounds that are not completely cured, on squeezing wounds. Do not use on burns, on mucous membranes, as well as in dermatological diseases that do not allow the use of silicone formulations.

Directions for use:
Wash your hands thoroughly before using the product. The scar and the surrounding skin should be washed with soap and rinsed with warm water. Gently dry. Remove the patch from the packaging, if necessary, it can be cut to the desired size (an additional 0.5 cm should be added on each side of the scar). After removing the protective film from the patch, apply it with a self-adhesive layer to the scar, starting from its edge. Then attach the scar to the entire surface. It is recommended to remove the patch once a day, then it should be cleaned with a neutral soap and dried. The patches can be changed every 3-5 days, but for best results it is recommended to do it every 24 hours.
