  • TRAUMON GEL is used in such ailments as blunt injuries: bruises, sprains, muscle strain, tendons and joints. Osteoarthritis of the spine, knee, shoulder. TRAUMON GEL Extra-articular rheumatism: pain

 

TRAUMON GEL 50 ml with analgesic and anti-inflammatory topical Composition:


1 g of silica gel or 1 ml of aerosol contains 100 mg etofenamatu.

TRAUMON GEL Action: non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug from the group of anthranilic acid (fenamatów) with analgesic and anti-inflammatory topical. The mechanism of action is inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, inhibiting the release of inflammatory mediators (bradykinin, serotonin, histamine, proteolytic enzymes), blocking the complement system and inhibit the release of hyaluronidase. Dermal bioavailability is about 20% and depends on the local state (eg. Moisture). The maximum blood concentration occurs after 12-24 hours after application. In about 99% bound to plasma proteins. TRAUMON GEL is excreted in the form of a number of free or conjugated metabolites in the urine of 35%, the remainder of the bile and feces.

 

TRAUMON GEL 50 ml with analgesic and anti-inflammatory topical  Indications:

 

Blunt injuries: bruises, sprains, muscle strain, tendons and joints.Osteoarthritis of the spine, knee, shoulder. Extra-articular rheumatism: pain in the lumbar-sacral; lesions in the periarticular soft tissue (bursitis, tendonitis, tendon sheaths, joint capsules);epicondylitis.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to etofenamate acid, flufenamic acid and other NSAIDs. Pregnancy. Children up to 14 years of age

Precautions: Do not use on damaged skin or the affected.

Pregnancy and lactation: Do not use in pregnancy. Extremely drug can be used during breast-feeding - short-term and limited body surface.

Undesirable effects : Rare (0.1-1.0%), redness of the skin; very rarely (0.01-0.1%), allergic skin reactions (itching, rash, erythema, swelling, blisters).

Dosage: Spray: spray the area covered by sore 3-5 times a day. TRAUMON GEL is usually sufficient to apply a single dosage of 7, but if necessary, the dose may be increased. After every 1-2 doses recommended to gentle dabbing formulation in the skin and allowed to dry. TRAUMON GEL: the appropriate amount (the bar length of about 5-10 cm, which corresponds to approximately 1,7-3,3 g product) applied to the skin in the area covered by pain and rub until completely absorbed. Use 3-4 times a day.The two formulations may be used after cooling in a refrigerator prior to obtaining a better cooling effect. In most rheumatic is sufficient 3-4 weeks of treatment. Treatment of blunt trauma (eg. Sports injuries) usually lasts up to 2 weeks.
