Breastfed infants is recommended daily intake of 400 IU (10 micrograms) of vitamin D, which corresponds to one capsule opening "twist-off" product Vita D capsules.

Vitamin D plays an important role in maintaining the appropriate concentrations and ratio of calcium and phosphorus in the body. It is essential for proper growth and health of bones and teeth.Insufficient intake of vitamin D can lead to rickets and other disorders of bone mineralization.

Breastfeeding is the best method of feeding infants in the first months of life. However, the amount of vitamin D contained in breast milk may not be enough. Vitamin D is produced naturally in the skin, under the influence of UV rays. This synthesis, however, is limited due to low sunlight, and it is today common to use UV filters.

Dosage:
