How does Fiprex work?

Products from the Fiprex line eliminate most ticks bitten into the skin of your pet within 24-48 hours of application, while in relation to fleas present and bitten into the skin - they act almost immediately - killing them. Products from the Fiprex line create a protective layer on the animal's skin, effectively protecting against re-infestation of ticks for up to 4 weeks and against re-infestation of fleas for up to 8 weeks. The preparations do not prevent ticks from attaching to the animal's skin. After being killed, ticks usually fall off the dog or cat, but those that remain can be removed by gently shaking them off.

Products from the Fiprex line can be used in puppies over 8 weeks of age and/or weighing more than 2 kg and in kittens over 8 weeks of age and/or weighing more than 2 kg. Fiprex is resistant to water and sunlight, but animals should not be bathed 2 days before and 2 days after administration of the preparation. In order to obtain optimal effect, the products should be administered with a minimum of 4-week intervals between subsequent applications. You should always keep in mind the current severity of flea and tick infestation in your area.

Products in the SPRAY formula are available in 100 ml and 250 ml packages. The preparation is used at a dose of 1.5 to 3.0 ml per 1 kg of body weight - i.e. 7.5 - 15 mg of fipronil/kg body weight, which corresponds to 3-6 presses of the dispenser pump (0.5 ml dose) of a 100 ml bottle per 1 kg of body weight and 1-2 presses of the dispenser pump (1.5 ml dose) of a 250 ml bottle for 1 kg of body weight
Dosage for 100 ml spray:
up to 5 kg - from 15 to 30 sprays
up to 10 kg - from 20 to 40 sprays
up to 20 kg - from 40 to 80 sprays
up to 30 kg - from 60 to 120 sprays
up to 40 kg - from 80 to 160 sprays
up to 50 kg - from 100 to 200 sprays

Avoid getting the preparation into the eyes and nose (for this purpose, on the head area in nervous animals or puppies, the product can be applied with a damp sponge).

How to apply Fiprex SPRAY?

Remove the washer cover. Spray the preparation evenly from a distance of approx. 20 cm, brushing away the hair, directly onto the entire surface of the animal's skin. Avoid getting the preparation into the eyes and nose (for this purpose, the product can be applied to the head area of ​​nervous animals or puppies with a moistened sponge). After treatment, protect the sprayer again with a cover.
