  • Opokan Actigel (naproxen, naproxenum) is a medicinal product in the form of a gel with analgesic and anti-inflammatory. The indications for its use are aches and pains post-traumatic degenerative. The active substance is naproxen.

 

Opokan Actigel (naproxen, naproxenum) Composition:


1 g of gel contains 100mg naproxen (Naproxenum) in the form of naproxen sodium and other ingredients: dimethyl sulfoxide, ethanol 96%, propylene glycol, hydroxypropyl cellulose, purified water.

 

Opokan Actigel (naproxen, naproxenum) Action:


Gel Opokan Actigel comprises naproxen, or an active substance belonging to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It exhibits analgesic and anti-inflammatory. In addition, DMSO was used drug, i.e. component which assists absorption of the active ingredient.

 

Opokan Actigel (naproxen, naproxenum) Application:


The medicinal product Opokan Actigel indicated for the treatment of various pain: traumatic muscle and joint pain (bruises, dislocations, sprains), back pain. Indicated for use in rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.

Additional information:
Keep out of reach of children, at room temperature. The drug may increase skin sensitivity to sunlight

Contraindications:
Do not use if hypersensitivity to any component of a drug or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and salicylates. Do not use in children under 3 years of age and women in the third trimester of pregnancy. Do not use on broken skin.

Adverse reactions:
While taking some people may experience side effects. During the application of the gel over a large area of the body can occur (rarely) itching, rash, burning, redness of the skin; severe allergic reactions (difficulty in breathing, coughing, swelling of the face, shortness of breath, palpitations). With prolonged treatment may suffer from gastrointestinal disorders (nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, heartburn, abdominal pain); exacerbation of gastric ulcers and / or duodenum; jaundice (yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes); impaired renal function; headaches and dizziness; poor concentration, insomnia; tinnitus, blurred vision.

 

Dosage Opokan Actigel 50g, naproxen, naproxenum:


For external use. Use according to directions on the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor. It is recommended to apply topically 4-5 times a day, gently massaging the skin preparation. After use, wash hands thoroughly. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
