The sensitive dog paws are particularly stressed in the cold season. Cold dries out the pads, which can become cracked and hard. Road salt removes water from the sensitive skin of the ball of the foot - the pads of the paws are inelastic and prone to injury.

Canina® WINTER PAW BALM optimally protects sensitive dog paws from moisture, cold, snow and road salt. Because the product is water-free, the paws cannot freeze as there is no watery film around the pads of the paws. Instead, the beeswax it contains forms a protective layer on the pads and in the inner skin between the pads, preventing moisture, salt or dirt from penetrating. Apricot kernel oil and shea butter care for and soften the balls and maintain their elasticity; Cracks and small injuries are prevented.

Canina® WINTER PAW BALM prevents the formation of ice between the toes: the dogs can easily cover long distances in snow and ice. This is particularly important for sled dogs, hunting and rescue dogs in action.

Tea tree oil and neem oil in Canina® WINTER PAW BALM prevent licking and nibbling on the paws and care for the skin of the balls of the feet; mechanical irritation is prevented.
