Indications:
Symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain such as headache, toothache, menstrual pain and fever and pain associated with colds. Symptomatic treatment of the acute headache phase in migraine with or without aura.

Headaches often appear suddenly. When the skull is pounding or feels like it's being pinched, it's usually a tension headache. Concentrated work is no longer possible and even everyday tasks can hardly be mastered.

Quick help is needed now. With its particularly rapid* onset of action, Ibu-LysinHEXAL® 684 mg not only relieves headaches, the drug also has a long-lasting effect of up to 6 hours on acute migraines with or without aura and mild to moderate pain such as menstrual pain and toothache. The active ingredient ibuprofen is also known for its anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties and has also been proven to treat pain and fever associated with colds.

Fast* effect

Ibu-LysinHEXAL® 684 mg film-coated tablets contain the active ingredient ibuprofen, which has been tried and tested for decades, as an easily soluble DL-lysine salt. This can be absorbed particularly quickly* by the body and thus accelerates the onset of action. Ibuprofen has been well researched and is one of the best-known medicines for pain, inflammation and fever. The active ingredient inhibits the formation of so-called prostaglandins, which are responsible for the transmission of inflammation and pain signals in the body. Mild to moderate pain and fever can be relieved in this way for up to 6 hours.

RECOMMENDED IBU-LYSINEHEXAL, 684 mg, ibuprofen-DL-lysine USE FOR ADULTS:

Starting dose: Take 200 mg or 400 mg ibuprofen (½ or 1 tablet Ibu-LysinHEXAL® 684 mg). If necessary, take an additional 200 mg or 400 mg ibuprofen (½ or 1 tablet), but do not exceed the total dose of 1200 mg ibuprofen (3 tablets) in any 24 hour period. The interval between each dose should not be less than 6 hours.

For people with a sensitive stomach, it is advisable to take Ibu-LysinHEXAL® 684 mg during meals. This can delay the onset of action somewhat. The drug is intended for short-term use. If the symptoms do not improve or even worsen within three days for migraine headaches or fever or within four days of pain treatment, please consult a doctor.

Dosage for children weighing 20 kg or more (about 6 years) and adolescents:

BODY WEIGHT 20kg - 29kg 30kg - 39kg
SINGLE DOSE 200 mg (½ tablet) 200 mg (½ tablet)
MAX. DAILY DOSE 600 mg (1 ½ tablets) 800 mg (2 tablets)
40 kg and more 200 - 400 mg (½ - 1 tablet) 1200 mg (3 tablets)

 

FOR COLDS WITH FEVER In

FOR CHILDREN FROM 6 YEARS OLD

Ibu-LysinHEXAL® 684 mg can be given to children from the age of 6 or a body weight of 20 kg or more to treat pain and fever. The film-coated tablets are divisible and can therefore be dosed according to age.

Which ingredients are contained in Ibu-LysinHEXAL® 684 mg?
The active substance is ibuprofen-DL-lysine. Each film-coated tablet contains 684 mg ibuprofen-DL-lysine (1:1), which corresponds to 400 mg ibuprofen.

The tablet core also contains microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, talc, colloidal anhydrous silica and magnesium stearate. The film coating contains hypromellose, macrogol 6000 and glycerol 85%.

Can I drive after taking Ibu-LysinHEXAL® 684 mg?
Taking Ibu-LysinHEXAL® 684 mg can cause side effects such as tiredness, dizziness and blurred vision. The ability to actively participate in road traffic and to operate machines can therefore be limited in individual cases. This applies to a greater extent in combination with alcohol.
