  • The medicinal product Mint tincture in the form of oral drops is a medicine traditionally indicated for digestive disorders. The medicinal product Peppermint tincture relieves symptoms such as indigestion and flatulence.

Composition Mint tincture:

1ml (equivalent to 850mg) oral drops contains 0.95ml (810mg) tincture from Mentha piperita L., folium (peppermint leaves) (1:20), 90% ethanol extractant (V / V) and 0.05ml (40mg) Mentha piperita L. oil, aetheroleum (peppermint essential oil). The content of ethanol in the product is 80-85% (V / V).

Action Mint tincture:

The medicinal product Mint tincture contains peppermint tincture and peppermint essential oil. The traditional indication for the use of the drug are digestive disorders - indigestion, flatulence. The preparation is a traditional herbal medicinal product for administration in specific indications resulting only from a long period of use.

Additional information:
Keep the product out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. The drug contains alcohol (0.8g of ethanol in a single dose). It may impair your ability to drive or use machines.

Contraindications for use Mint tincture:

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug, including menthol. Do not use in the case of gastroesophageal reflux and biliary tract diseases (e.g. cholangitis, cholelithiasis). Do not use on children under 12 years of age. Not recommended for liver disease, epilepsy and alcoholism. Not recommended for women during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Side effects:
Some people may get side effects while taking this medicine. Gastroesophageal reflux and heartburn may increase, and an allergic reaction to peppermint oil may occur.

Dosage of oral drops Mint tincture:

Use as directed by your doctor or as directed on the leaflet. Adults, adolescents over 12 years of age: in digestive disorders it is recommended to use 30 drops of tincture, diluted in water or on a teaspoon of sugar. Repeat the dose up to 3 times a day. If the symptoms persist for more than 14 days, it is recommended to contact a doctor.
