The active substance is:
xylometazoline hydrochloride. 1 ml nasal drops, solution contains 0.5 mg xylometazoline hydrochloride.

The other ingredients are:
Benzalkonium chloride solution, edetate sodium (Ph.Eur.), sodium chloride, disodium phosphate dihydrogen, disodium phosphate dihydrate (Ph.Eur.), sorbitol solution 70% (non-crystallizing) (Ph.Eur.), purified water.

How do you use Olynth ^® 0.05% cold solution correctly?
1. Blow your child's nose before use.
2. Fill the pipette by pressing the rubber stopper.
3. Lean the child's head back slightly for the application.
4. Insert the dropper into the nostril. Introduce 1 - 2 drops into the nostril by squeezing the rubber stopper.
5.Do not let go of the rubber stopper until the pipette has been pulled completely out of your nose to avoid sucking in any secretion.
6. Repeat the process on the other side if necessary.
7. For reasons of hygiene, wipe the pipette after each use.

Do not use Olynth 0.05% cold solution for longer than 7 days without medical advice. It should only be used again after a break of several days. The doctor should always be asked about the duration of use in children.
