The drug should be immediately discontinued and consult a physician if the following side effects occur: Stevens-Johnson syndrome (blisters affecting erosions, on the mucous membranes of the mouth, conjunctivitis, genitals); Lyell's syndrome (toxic epidermal necrolysis, erythematous blisters within the skin and mucous membranes leading to large areas of the epidermis and exposing large areas of the skin); pancytopenia (significant reduction in the number of all blood cells: red and white blood cells and platelets, manifesting as general malaise, fever, signs of infection, hematomas, bleeding, pale skin); agranulocytosis (total or almost complete disappearance of granulocytes in the blood) manifested by: high fever, chills; sore throat, difficulty in swallowing and inflammation of the oral mucosa, nose, throat, genital and rectum; increased OB; not always normal values ​​of hemoglobin, erythrocytes and platelets, although they are usually normal; slightly enlarged lymph nodes and spleen, although they are usually unchanged. A single report indicates that the risk of agranulocytosis may increase with metamizol for more than one week. Other side effects: uncommon - drug-induced rash (transient various types of rash: papular, spotted, pustular, erythematous); excessive reduction of blood pressure; rarely - maculopapular changes; leukopenia (reduction in the number of white blood cells); very rarely - analgesic asthma, asthma attacks; thrombocytopenia (hematomas, bleeding); sudden deterioration of renal function with proteinuria, oliguria or anuria; acute renal failure; interstitial nephritis; frequency unknown - nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, stomach irritation, diarrhea, dry mouth; liver damage; headaches and dizziness; hemolytic anemia, aplastic anemia, bone marrow damage, sometimes fatal. In patients deficient in glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, the drug causes haemolysis of the blood cells; red urine (after using very high doses of metamizol).

Use as directed by your doctor or as directed on the leaflet. Dissolve the contents of the sachet in a glass of water, drink while eating or immediately after a meal. It is recommended to use the lowest effective doses. In adults, in the case of fever and occasional pain: take 1-2 sachets once (0.5g-1g of metamizol). The maximum single dose is two sachets (1g metamizol), while the maximum daily dose is 6 sachets (3g metamizol). You should consult your doctor when there has been no improvement after 3-5 days of using the medicine.
