• The preparation is a herbal medicine for external use in colds of the respiratory tract and for the treatment of muscle and joint pain in rheumatic complaints.
• The medicine is intended for use in children from 2 years of age and adults.

• Always use the medicine exactly as directed. Please check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor or pharmacist, the usual dose is:
  • As a rub:
    • Unless otherwise prescribed, children from the age of 2 and adults rub the affected areas 2 to 3 times a day, e.g. B. chest and back or painful areas with the specified amount.
    • Children from 2 years to 12 years: approx. 3 cm long strand of ointment
    • Children from 12 years and adults: approx. 6 cm long strand of ointment

• If you use more than you should:

• If the preparation is accidentally ingested:
  • Accidental ingestion of large amounts of eucalyptus oil can cause significant symptoms (e.g. vomiting, abdominal pain, drowsiness, shortness of breath).
  • In this case, even if no symptoms have appeared, you should contact your doctor. This is especially true if a small child has swallowed large amounts of the preparation.

  • Eucalyptus oil activates the enzyme system in the liver that breaks down foreign substances.
  • The effects of other medicines can therefore be weakened and/or shortened.
  • This cannot be ruled out in the case of large-area application as a result of the absorption of larger amounts of active substance through the skin.
  • Therefore, ask your doctor if you want to use other means.

Contraindications

• The medicine must not be used:
  • with known hypersensitivity to the active substance, cineol, the main component of eucalyptus oil or one of the other components,
  • in infants and young children up to 2 years of age,
  • for damaged skin, e.g. B. in case of burns and injuries,
  • in patients with bronchial asthma (bronchial asthma) or other respiratory diseases associated with pronounced hypersensitivity of the airways.
