  • NIFUROKSAZYD drug is responsible for antimicrobial activity. Combats most micro-organisms causing gastrointestinal symptoms as diarrhea, thus alleviating its symptoms.


Composition NIFUROKSAZYD:


1 tablet contains 200 mg nifuroksazydu; Active substances: starch, potato starch, povidone, magnesium stearate, coating yellow Opadry II having the composition: polyvinyl alcohol, macrogol 3350, quinoline yellow, lakes (E 104), talc, titanium dioxide (E171), sunset yellow (E 110) indigo carmine (E132).


NIFUROKSAZYD Action:


The preparation is based on nifuroksazydu, which is responsible for the antibacterial activity against most of the microorganisms which cause intestinal infections. Its effects include: gram-positive bacteria of the genus Staphylococcus and Streptococcus and Gram-negative bacteria (Shigella, Salmonella, Escherichia, Klebsiella). Its properties do not include microorganisms of the genus Proteus, Providentia, Pseudomonas. The drug does not cause disturbances correct microbial balance of the gastrointestinal tract.

NIFUROKSAZYD:
- Hypersensitivity to the active component of the drug
- use in children under 6 years of age.

Indications:
It is recommended to take the drug in case of bacterial diarrhea in adults and children over 6 years of age.

Nifuroxazide Dosage:
Oral use. In adults, it is recommended to preferably use a dose of 800/24 2-4 divided doses. Children above the age of six years to be administered - 600-800 mg / 24 h in 2-4 divided doses.
