A high absorption capacity and special skin compatibility are just two of the many features that qualify Leukomed ^® for the professional care of post-operative wounds and accident injuries of all kinds.

The sterile wound dressing offers reliable protection from pathogens and contamination. The cross-elastic polyester fleece is very flexible and supple and is therefore also suitable for use on strongly contoured parts of the body. The absorbent wound pad can absorb low to moderate volumes of exudate. It is made of soft viscose fleece with a polypropylene coating. This prevents the dressing from sticking to the wound and enables a pain-free dressing change that does not impair wound healing.

Thanks to the air and water vapor permeable materials, the risk of maceration is reduced. The rounded corners prevent rolling up and ensure that the sterile dressing is securely fixed. Despite good immediate and permanent adhesion, Leukomed ^® can be removed without leaving any adhesive residue on the skin.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Does Leukomed ^® have to be removed before an X-ray examination?
No. Although Leukomed ^® is not transparent, the product is still permeable to X-rays during the examination. The wound dressing therefore does not have to be removed for X-ray examinations and MRIs, and no additional dressing change is necessary. Is Leukomed ^®

suitable for sensitive skin?
For patients with sensitive skin, we recommend using Leukomed ^® skin sensitive. The sterile dressing with absorbent wound pad was specially developed for sensitive baby skin, fragile aging skin or already damaged skin. The gently adhering silicone coating has a high adhesive strength and also enables the dressing to be removed painlessly and without leaving any residue. The plaster can be worn for up to 7 days.

Is Leukomed ^® available in different sizes?
Leukomed ^® is available in seven sizes for sterile treatment of different wound sizes: 5 x 7.2 cm, 8 x 10 cm, 8 x 15 cm, 10 x 20 cm, 10 x 25 cm, 10 x 30 cm and 10 x 35 cm.
All sizes are available in boxes of 5 or 50. For hygienic reasons, each Leukomed ^® wound dressing is individually packaged.
