1. What is Helar is and what it is used for

Helar active substance is true Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum) derived from the seeds of vegetable active ingredient silymarin. Silymarin causes a protective effect on the liver. Research suggests that silymarin caused a strong antioxidant and glutathione concentration of intracellular regulating effect and binds free radicals, prevents harmful substances into the liver cells, promote liver regeneration, and inhibit the accumulation of collagen fibers in the liver. Such disorders occur during liver cirrhosis.

Helar hard capsules, as an additional tool to be used in adults to treat toxic liver injury. Also medicine may be used in combination with other drugs for chronic hepatitis and liver cirrhosis treatment.

2. Before you Helar

- If you are allergic to silymarin or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (they

listed in Section 6).

Warnings and Precautions

Check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking Helar.

If you have diabetes, a low blood sugar or taking medicines, food

supplements or other products that affect blood glucose levels. Helar can reduce glucose

concentration in the blood.

If your well-being has not improved or even worse, see your doctor.

Use in children and adolescents

Helar is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Other medicines and Helar

If you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, or because you are not sure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Not that Helar interact with other medicines.

Helar with food and drink

Helar can be taken with or without food.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, you think you may be pregnant, or are planning to become pregnant before taking this medicine, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Animal studies indicate direct or indirect harmful effects on pregnancy, embryonic or fetal development, parturition observed. Studies in pregnant women and nursing mothers should not, therefore, during those periods, the medicine is not recommended.

Driving and using machines

Helar ability to drive and use machines.

Helar contains lactose monohydrate.

If your doctor has told you that you have intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicine.

3. How Helar

Always take this medicine exactly as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Should be taken three or four 22.5 mg hard capsules three times a day.

The product is recommended for more than 3 months.

Elderly patients with renal impairment, dose adjustment is required.

If you take a large dose Helar

If you take too high a dose, contact your doctor or the nearest hospital emergency department.

If you forget to Helar

If the usual time to take a forgotten dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed, and continue with your routine. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.

If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

4. Possible side effects

This medicine, like all others, can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Taking Helar may experience this side effect.

Side effects of unknown frequency (can not be estimated from the available data)

Headache, dizziness, epigastric (brisket), headache, diarrhea, itching and hives.

5. How to store Helar

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children place.

Do not store above 25 ^o C.

On the carton and blister after EXP after the expiry date of this medicine. The expiry refers to the last day of the month.

Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. How to dispose of unwanted medication, ask your pharmacist. These measures will help to protect the environment.

6. Contents of the pack and other information

Helar composition

- The active substance is silymarin. Each capsule contains 34.6 to 75 mg of Silybum marianum (L.) Gaertn., Fructus (milk thistle fruit) refined and standardized dry extract (24-27: 1), corresponding to 22.5 mg of silymarin, calculated in accordance with sylibanin.

Extraction solvent: acetone: water (95: 5).

Each capsule contains 34.6 to 75 mg of Silybum marianum (L.) Gaertn., Fructus (milk thistle fruit) refined and standardized dry extract (36-44: 1), corresponding to 22.5 mg of silymarin, calculated in accordance with sylibanin.

Extraction solvent: ethyl acetate.

- Other ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, talc, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica, the capsule housing - gelatin, red iron oxide (E172), titanium dioxide (E171).

Helar appearance and contents of the pack

Helar hard capsules are maroon filled with yellowish powder.

Helar packaged in blister packs of 20 capsules. Blister packages are packed in cartons, each containing 40, 60, 80, 100, 120, 140, 160, 180 or 200 capsules.

It may not be available in all packs.
