Natural swelling of the nasal mucosa
In the case of a cold, the paranasal sinuses are often affected as well. The narrow connecting channels to the nasal cavity are clogged and the mucus cannot drain out of the sinuses. The subsequent inflammation of the nasal mucosa spreads to the sinuses, where infection with swelling of the mucous membranes can also occur. Typical symptoms of sinusitis are a feeling of pressure and pain in the face and head area. Affected people feel ill and exhausted, sometimes there is also a fever. In the case of acute sinusitis, the first thing to do is to get the mucous membranes to swell. Bromelain tablets hysan ^®contain the herbal active ingredient bromelain from pineapples. It has a natural decongestant effect, so pressure and pain can be effectively relieved.1 The purely herbal medicinal product is well tolerated and free of lactose and dyes. The stomach-friendly tablets are also suitable for treating adolescents aged 12 and over.

Herbal active ingredient from pineapple
Bromelain is a natural active ingredient that is obtained from the pineapple plant. Because of its anti-swelling properties, bromelain has proven itself for use after injuries and surgeries. The herbal medicine bromelain tablets hysan ^®causes the swelling of the inflamed mucous membranes in the nose and sinuses to go down and thus ensures better ventilation. The accumulated secretion can drain off more easily, pressure and pain decrease. The enteric coating of the tablets protects the highly concentrated pineapple enzymes from premature decomposition in the stomach. The active substance thus reaches the intestine unhindered and can achieve the desired effect from there.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE:
Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, adults and adolescents from the age of 12 take 1 hysan ^{® bromelain tablet once or twice a day}swallow whole with some liquid (e.g. a glass of water) about half an hour before meals. The drug should not be used for more than 4 to 5 days without medical or dental advice.

TIP: As an ideal supplement to the long-term effect of the bromelain tablets, we recommend using a decongestant nasal spray such as hysan ^® nasal spray or hysan ^® saline spray with natural sea salt, which ensure rapid decongestion of the nasal mucosa.

FOR ACUTE SINUSITIS
A sinusitis is an inflammation of the mucous membranes in the sinuses - usually as a result of a cold with a blocked nose. The condition is accompanied by pain in the cheek area and behind the eyes, which worsens when touched or moved. If the maxillary sinuses are also affected, unpleasant jaw pain and toothache can occur. Sinusitis can become persistent and cause further complications. The ventilation of the sinuses and the drainage of the secretions therefore play a central role in the treatment of sinusitis.

AFTER OPERATIONS & INJURIES
As a result of injuries and operations on the nose, swelling of the mucous membrane can also occur. A clinical study documents the safe and effective use in post-operative care in ear, nose and throat medicine.* According to this, symptoms such as e.g. B. pain, edema or obstruction of nasal breathing significantly improved. 70% of the doctors involved attested that bromelain tablets hysan ^® reduced the swelling, 90% of the patients would take the drug again in a comparable situation.

health insurance cover the costs for hysan ^® bromelain tablets ?
Some statutory health insurance companies reimburse the costs for the herbal medicinal product. It is usually sufficient to present the doctor's recommendation (the so-called "green" prescription) and the receipt from the pharmacy

. Can the bromelain tablet be divided?
No, this is not possible. Bromelain tablets hysan ^® have an enteric coating to protect the active ingredient and prevent its premature destruction in the stomach. Instead, the tablet can pass through the stomach unhindered and is only released in the small intestine. There the active ingredient is absorbed and then transported via the bloodstream to the mucous membranes, where it can develop its full effect.

Can I take bromelain tablets hysan ^®take with other medicines?
Talk to your doctor if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medicines, including those obtained without a prescription or pharmacy. Bromelain tablets hysan ^® can increase the effect of other drugs when used at the same time: they affect the coagulability of the blood and also increase the effect of antibiotics by increasing blood and urine levels.

How to store bromelain tablets hysan ^® ?
Please store the medicine in the refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C. During the treatment period, bromelain tablets hysan ^®four weeks outside the refrigerator, but at room temperatures not exceeding 25 °C.
