Witch hazel has been used to relieve swelling, bleeding, itching, minor pain, and discomfort caused by minor skin irritations (such as cuts, scrapes, insect bites). It is also used to relieve itching, discomfort, irritation, and burning caused by hemorrhoids.

Active ingredient: Hamamelis virginiana e foliis (homöoph.)

What is witch hazel ointment 10% and what is it used for?
Hamamelis ointment 10% is an anthroposophic medicine for wounds and varicose veins.

According to anthroposophic knowledge of man and nature, the areas of application include the stimulation and structuring of the healing processes in wounds and vascular deformations, eg haemorrhoids, skin tears in the anal area, symptoms of varicose veins (varicose symptom complex), leg ulcers, eczema.

How to use Hamamelis Ointment 10%?
Always use Hamamelis Ointment 10% exactly as your doctor has told you.

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is: Apply to the skin 1-3 times a day.

Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 1 week. If there is no improvement within 3 days, a doctor should be consulted. The duration of treatment of chronic diseases requires consultation with the doctor.
