  • Octenilin gel, wundgel, moisturizes and cleanses all kinds of wounds - especially recommended in granulation and epithelial wounds and for use in burn wounds. Painless application, good tolerance through mucous membranes and skin.

Octenilin gel, wundgel Action:
Octenilin, the only gel on the market containing octenidine - a substance that inactivates pathogens, is colorless and odorless - does not irritate wounds, mucous membranes and skin in any way. Recommended for use in many types of wounds - for maintaining a good level of moisture in the wound, suitable for all kinds of dressings. Recommended during therapy in the treatment of chronic wounds to create optimal conditions for wound healing.

Composition:
Octenidine dihydrochloride, propylene glycol, hydroxyethylcellulose, purified water.

Octenilin gel, wundgel Usage:
Before applying octenilin gel on wounds, it is recommended to pre-rinse and cleanse the wound with octenisept, which allows effective antiseptic action and removal of remnants of necrotic tissue, dressing residues, bacterial biofilm, and thus minimizing the risk of wound infection or elimination of the existing infection . Dressings made of gauze, compresses or other easily absorbed dressings should be soaked with Octenilin gel for wounds, and then the wound should be secured with a bandage or a suitable dressing. The gel may remain on the wound until the next dressing change. Depending on when the next dressing change is planned, the correct amount of gel is applied: a larger quantity: when changing a dressing in a few days (up to five days) a smaller amount: if the dressing is changed the same day or the next.
