  • OTRIVIN MENTHOL (xylometazoline hydrochloride) is a nasal spray formulation that facilitates breathing through the nose and makes it easier to breathe. It moisturizes and prevents mucous membrane drying. It supports the outflow of secretions from the inflammatory sinus zones.

 

Composition OTRIVIN MENTHOL Nasal spray, xylometazoline hydrochloride:

 


active substance - xylometazoline hydrochloride. One ml of the solution contains 1 mg of xylometazoline hydrochloride,
other ingredients - benzalkonium chloride, disodium edetate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, disodium phosphate dihydrate, sodium chloride, sorbitol 70%, hypromellose 4000, purified water.

OTRIVIN MENTHOL Nasal spray, xylometazoline hydrochloride Action:
The preparation, due to the content of xylometazoline hydrochloride, is responsible for localized vasoconstriction and the reduction of mucosal hyperaemia and its edema. It contributes to reducing the secretion. In case of obstruction, easy breathing through the nose. It shows moisturizing properties and prevents excessive mucosal dryness. In addition, it supports the outflow of secretions from sinuses affected by inflammation.
