  • Otrivin Regeneration nasal spray is a medicinal product containing two active substances - xylometazoline hydrochloride and dexopanthenol. This drug constricts blood vessels, reduces swelling of the nasal mucosa, and additionally supports wound healing.

Composition of Otrivin Regeneration nasal spray:

Active substances: xylometazoline hydrochloride and dexopanthenol. One dose (0.1ml) contains: 0.1mg xylometazoline hydrochloride and 5.0mg dexpanthenol and other ingredients: benzalkonium chloride (solution), potassium dihydrogen phosphate, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, purified water.

Action Otrivin Regeneration nasal spray:

Otrivin Regeneration nasal spray contains dexpanthenol and xylometazoline hydrochloride. The drug has a decongestant effect on blood vessels, helps to reduce swelling of the nasal mucosa, thus facilitating breathing. Thanks to the content of dexopanthenol (a derivative of pantothenic acid), it protects the nasal mucosa and promotes wound healing.

Application:

Otrivin Regeneration nasal spray indicated for use to reduce swelling of the nasal mucosa in the course of rhinitis, also as part of the treatment of wound and skin mucosal healing, to relieve vasomotor rhinitis, in the treatment of obstructed nasal breathing , to reduce swelling of the nasal mucosa in the course of rhinitis, which is associated with acute sinusitis (sinusitis, rhinitis).

Additional information:
Keep the product out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. Prolonged use of the preparation may lead to chronic swelling and subsequent loss of nasal mucosa.

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the spray. Do not use below 12 years of age. Do not use in women during pregnancy and lactation. Do not use in the case of dry rhinitis, including scabs (dry or atrophic rhinitis). Do not use in people who have had nose surgery (e.g. removal of the pituitary gland). Do not use in case of increased eye pressure, especially in the case of narrow-angle glaucoma.

Side effects:
There is a risk of side effects when using this medicine, but they do not affect everyone. Uncommon: allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling of the skin and mucous membranes). Rare: Palpitations, rapid heartbeat, increased blood pressure (hypertension). Very rare: agitation, insomnia, fatigue (drowsiness, sedation), headache, hallucinations (especially in children), irregular heartbeat, increased swelling of the mucosa due to weakening of the drug, nosebleeds, cramps (especially in children). Not known: burning or dry nose, sneezing.

Dosage of Otrivin nasal spray Regeneration:

Apply the medicine as directed by your doctor or as directed on the leaflet. Spray one spray into each nostril. Use up to three times a day. Usually, the dosage depends on individual sensitivity as well as the clinical response. Do not use more than three times a day. Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, do not use for more than 7 days.
