TANTUM VERDE ^® SUCTION TABLETS ORANGE-HONEY FOR THE MOUTH AND THROAT

The Tantum Verde ^® lozenges with orange-honey taste are used to treat pain and irritation in the mouth - and pharynx applied. With their anti-inflammatory properties, the lozenges belong to the group of anti-inflammatory drugs. Tantum Verde ^® has a local anesthetic ¹ , that is, it numbs the pain in the mouth and throat in a targeted manner. Benzydamine is a medicine that provides rapid pain relief ²and ensures freedom from symptoms for up to 3 hours. ³ The Tantum Verde ^® lozenges are also available in the flavors of mint and lemon.

AREAS OF APPLICATION OF TANTUM VERDE ^® SUCTION PILLS
The topical anti-inflammatory tablets numbing effect of Tantum Verde ^®Lozenges are suitable for a number of uses. In addition to sore throats (such as throat pain in the course of a viral cold, slight scratching or burning in the throat), this also includes irritated airways, the symptoms of which are hoarseness. In addition, Tantum Verde ^® lozenges are suitable for treating pain and irritation in the mouth, for example caused by hot food and drinks or hard food components. Furthermore, Tantum Verde ^{® can be used} for inflammation of the mucous membranes with painful blisters (aphthous stomatitis), inflammation in the mouth (mucositis) and difficulty swallowing.


RECOMMENDED USE
For adults and children from 6 years of age, the usual dose is 3 Tantum Verde ^®Lozenges daily. In children between 6 and 11 years of age, the medicine should be taken under adult supervision. Let the lozenges slowly dissolve in your mouth. They should not be swallowed or chewed. No more than 3 lozenges should be used per day, and the intake should not be longer than 7 days. If you don't feel better or even worse after 3 days, contact your doctor.

If there is an intolerance to certain sugars, the drug should only be used after consulting a doctor.


TANTUM VERDE ^® SUCTION TABLETS FOR COLD

In the case of a cold, an infection of the upper respiratory tract, symptoms of a runny nose, sore throat, cough and hoarseness can occur. On average, two to four infections occur in adults each year, especially in autumn and winter. Children can get eight to ten colds a year. ⁴ The Tantum Verde ^® lozenges have a local anesthetic effect, effectively inhibit irritation in the mouth and throat and lead to rapid pain relief.

Inflammation of the oral mucosa (stomatitis) can be a secondary symptom of an infection or systemic disease, or it can appear as an independent clinical picture without an identifiable cause. Women are more often affected by so-called "aphthae" than men. ⁶ Local treatment with Tantum Verde ^® lozenges alleviates the symptoms, which include a strong burning sensation in the oral mucosa.

Usually only a few days are necessary for the treatment of acute pain and irritation with Tantum Verde ^® . The intake should not exceed 7 days. If you don't feel better or even worse after 3 days, contact your doctor.

Can Tantum Verde ^® lozenges also be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
Tantum Verde ^® should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Do asthma patients need to be particularly careful when using Tantum Verde ^® lozenges?
If you have a history of bronchial asthma, Tantum Verde ^{® should be used} with particular caution, as it can lead to cramps in the muscles that span the airways.
