Active ingredient: fennel oil

1. What is fennel honey SN and what is it used for?
Fennel honey SN is a herbal medicine for catarrhal diseases of the upper respiratory tract.

Area of ​​application
Colds of the upper respiratory tract with viscous mucus in children. If you have fever, shortness of breath or if symptoms persist or are unclear for more than 5 days, you should consult a doctor.

2. What you need to consider before taking Fennel Honey SN
Fennel Honey SN must not be taken if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to fennel, other umbelliferous plants or any of the other ingredients of Fennel Honey SN.

When taking fennel honey SN with other medicines:
Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using or have recently taken/used any other medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines. To date, no interactions have been reported.

Take special care when taking fennel honey SN
if you use this medicine frequently and continuously, because fennel honey SN can be harmful to your teeth (caries).

Children:
Because there are insufficient studies on infants, this medicine should not be used in children under one year of age.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding:
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking/using any medicines. Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for fennel honey SN. However, no systematic scientific studies were carried out.

Important information about certain other ingredients of fennel honey SN:
This medicine contains a mixture of sucrose, glucose and fructose. Please only take fennel honey SN after consulting your doctor if
you know that you suffer from an intolerance to certain sugars. 1 measuring spoon (5 ml) contains 4.9 g of a mixture of glucose, fructose and sucrose (sugar), corresponding to approx. 0.4 bread units (BE). This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes mellitus

How to take Fennel Honey SN?
Always take Fennel Honey SN exactly according to the instructions in this leaflet. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you
are not sure. Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual

dose is:
Children aged 1 year and over take one measuring spoonful (5 ml, equivalent to 3.25 mg of bitter fennel oil) with fennel honey SN 2-3 times a day. (corresponds to a total daily dose of 10-15 ml, equivalent to 6.5-9.75 mg bitter fennel oil). Fennel honey SN can be taken until the symptoms subside. Shake well before taking. Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of fennel honey SN is too strong or too weak.

If you have taken more fennel honey SN than you should.
There are no known toxic effects.

If you forget to take Fennel Honey SN
Do not take a double dose if you forget the previous dose, but continue with the next dose. If you have any further questions about using the medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

What side effects are possible?
Like all medicines, fennel honey SN can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them. When evaluating side effects, the following frequency information is used:

5. How
to store fennel honey SN Keep medicines out of the reach of children. You must not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the carton and bottle label. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.

Storage conditions:
This medicinal product does not require special storage conditions.

Note on shelf life after opening
Fennel honey SN has a shelf life of 4 months after opening the bottle.
