  • Vaginal globules Ectifem is a medical device to be used in the case of vaginal dryness and discomfort of intimate areas. The composition includes, among others ectoine, which helps reduce inflammation and supports the regeneration of cell membranes.

Operation of Vaginal dryness in menopause, vaginal dryness treatment, Ectifem:

The medical device Ectifem is vaginal globules with ectoine and hyaluronic acid. They are indicated for use in the case of vaginal dryness and as support in the treatment of inflammatory symptoms. Ectoine reduces inflammation, and also has a stabilizing and regenerating effect on cell membranes. Hyaluronic acid moisturizes the vaginal mucosa and reduces dryness, soothes the feeling of tension, itching and burning. Globules are recommended for use in the case of vaginal dryness resulting from hormonal changes, e.g. during menopause. The preparation will work as a support for the reconstruction of the vaginal mucosa and as a means of alleviating symptoms related to the use of drugs or resulting from chemotherapy and radiotherapy. It can also be used to relieve pain from painful intercourse.

Store the product out of reach of children, at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. Do not swallow. Do not use if the package has been previously opened or damaged. Do not use simultaneously with other vaginal preparations without consulting your doctor first. Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding should be discussed with your doctor. If any alarming symptoms or side effects appear, discontinue use of the product and consult a physician.

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation. Do not use during menstruation and on damaged vaginal mucosa.

Use vaginally. Initial treatment: apply one globule a day, it is recommended to use it just before going to bed. It is recommended to use for 7 days or as directed by your doctor. Maintenance treatment: apply one globule 2-3 times a week or as directed by your doctor.
