Vitamin B1-ratiopharm® 50 mg/ml is a vitamin preparation.

Vitamin B1-ratiopharm® 50 mg/ml is used to treat vitamin B1 deficiency if this has been clinically proven.

How to use Vitamin B1-ratiopharm® 50 mg/ml?
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.

Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is
50-100 mg thiamine chloride hydrochloride (equivalent to ½-1 ampoule of Vitamin B1-ratiopharm® 50 mg/ml) once a day as an injection.

administration Vitamin B1-ratiopharm® 50 mg/ml is injected carefully and slowly intramuscularly or intravenously (into a muscle or vein) by your doctor or other medical staff.

duration of use
The duration of treatment with Vitamin B1-ratiopharm® 50 mg/ml depends on the reason for the vitamin B1 deficiency and is based on the doctor's instructions.

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Vitamin B1 ratiopharm® 50 mg/ml is too strong or too weak.

If you use more Vitamin B1-ratiopharm® 50 mg/ml than you should
The application of Vitamin B1-ratiopharm® 50 mg/ml will be interrupted.

Other measures are generally not necessary. With extreme overdoses of more than 10 g, curare-like nerve paralysis has been observed.
