  • OTRIVIN aerosol 0.05% in the form of nasal drops, has hlorowodorek xylometazoline, which is used in the course of rhinitis effectively prevents the drying and irritation of the nasal mucosa and helping to clear the nose.

Composition OTRIVIN aerosol:
1 ml of OTRIVIN drops nasal drops or nasal spray contains 0.5 mg or 1 mg xylometazoline hydrochloride.

Operation of OTRIVIN aerosol:

Preparation OTRIVIN drops sympathomimetic, especially receptors and -Adrenergic. The applied intranasally narrows blood vessels advanced nasopharyngeal mucosa, leading to a reduction in the symptoms of congestion and inflammation. Reduces nasal congestion, helps drain the sinuses and breathing through the nose, and also increases the drainage of secretions. The effects of starts after a few minutes of application and maintains up to 10 h. Specially developed formulation (moisturizing formula) prevents drying and irritation of the nasal mucosa.

OTRIVIN aerosol Indications: Rhinitis nasal congestion caused by colds or allergic rhinitis and sinusitis. Auxiliary in otitis media and nasal endoscopy.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding: should not be used during pregnancy. There are no data on safety during breast-feeding.

Dosage OTRIVIN aerosol:

Formulation 0.1%. Adults and children over 6. r.ż .: 3-4 times a day 2-3 drops or after 1 dose of spray in each nostril. The preparation of 0.05%. Infants and children up to 6 r.ż .: 1-2 times per day (every 8-10 h) 1-2 drops or one dose of spray in each nostril.
