1 Drilling. Gluconate contains 200 mg of iron (II), equivalent to 24 mg Fe (II), and 20 mg ascorbic acid.

Interactions: iron compounds inhibit the absorption of tetracyclines and fluoroquinolones. Antacids (aluminum compounds and magnesium), phosphates, neomycin and cholestyramine reduce the absorption of iron, and ascorbic acid (vitamin C) - easier.

Dosage: Orally 3 times daily between meals 2-3 dragees, infants are usually half the dose.
